We will be staying in this hotel for 2 nights, until the Morning of Sept 27th.

The groups leaves the hotel at 4am in rental cars towards Maroon bells. (a 45 minute drive) for a spectacular sunrise shoot. There won't be any hiking, and we will have a stunning view of the sunrise over the peaks of mountains and on to the lake
On the way back to the hotels, we will visit Ashcroft, CO, an old 1890s ghosttown for beautiful photos of the rustic buildings, with another 3-5 stops to capture the aspen trees.
After lunch we will do a trip to the local Peter Lik gallery, and return to the gotel by 1pm et a short nap in before the next shoot

We will then head out towards Mcclure Pass
and giving us many opportunities to stop and capture the golden aspen trees.

These shots are some of Bob Augsburg's top selling photos in his entire portfolio. This will be our sunset shoot as well.
After sunset we will grab a late dinner all together at an absolutely iconic setting, one the best BBQ locations in the state! Very famous, called "Slow Groovin"

Bob, Clif and and I as a team will shoot together with you and we will see how you compose and what camera settings you use to capture the trees, and of course we’ll coach you as needed!

We will be staying in this hotel for until the morning of Day 2, Friday Sept 27th.
Dawn shoot at Independence Pass for old mining ghost town and aspen trees, this is one of the most scenic places in Colorado.
This will also be a great time to rest some, and check out of your hotel just before 10:30
(1:30 hour road trip) Stop at Rifle falls and do a quick lunch afterwards in the town of Rifle, Co.
(3:00 hour road trip) This will be a longer drive and we have to make good time in order to make the sunset.

Drive out of Telluride, CO
We will stop along the way many times, this is one of the most scenic routes so stopping will be worth it
2 hour drive as we'll be stopping a few times.
Arrive at Telluride at 3:45pm
We will spend 1 hour in Telluride, sightseeing the gorgeous 1890s goldrush Victorian era dowtown, art galleries, food etc.
Leave Telluride at 4:45pm
It is recommended to fly home the next day, Sept 29th, from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE)
