On Day 1
Capture the New York City on a once in a lifetime adventure
This trip will make your already impressive portfolio of images pop! As you capture some of the most iconic photos of the big apple range
5:45am-8:30am (Sunrise 7:27am)
Meet your fellow students with your gear on your back, before the sun comes up at the Hyatt House Chelsea, before we embark as a group to the Manhattan bridge to capture the stunning New York City skyline from several angles.
Rest in the late morning
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Join us at the Conference Room for class work.
4:20pm - 7:30pm (Sunset 5:52pm)
Shoot the iconic lower Manhattan skyline from Dumbo and Brooklyn Park. Last year this was voted the #1 most popular spot by the group, and you CAN'T miss it!
New York City Photo Adventure: Day 2
SATURDAY NOV 2nd 2024
5:45am-9:00am (Sunrise 7:28am)
We will meet at the Hyatt House Chelsea, and ride the metro together to capture one of my absolute best selling photographs of the wires on the Brooklynn bridge.
Rest in the late morning.
Free roaming early afternoon
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Join us at the Conference Room for class work.
4:20pm - 7:30pm (Sunset 5:50pm)
Shoot the incredible Central park, Capture the leaves changing, various lakes and fountains as we traverse the winding paths.

We will meet at the Hyatt House Chelsea, and ride the metro together to Photograph the Grand Central Station, and the Chrysler building

As a final stunning photography trip, we are going to meet up and ride the Ferry to capture the iconic Statue of Liberty from the New York Harbor

Note: we are absolutely teaching how to sell your art online.

- If you have a +1 , NOT attending the workshop as a photographer, like a family member (not a photographer partaking in the coaching or lessons etc.) they may attend for no additional fee. They may still get breakfasts with us, dinners, internal transport, But they will be responsible for any additional costs incurred, (like entrance fees) and will not be coached.
Frequently Asked Questions
The fee for the whole adventure is $2,500 per person, which includes:
- Simple, practical In depth workshops where you get your online stores up fast so you can go from zero to up and running in a matter of days, or from a beginner shop... to many of you making sales while on this workshop. No matter what, you'll leave here happy and winning!
- three days and nights of training with the four coaches.
- The discovery of New York City (the famous places and the much lesser known!) with a group of inspiring like-minded photographers all on the same mission - to capture stunning iconic images of one of the World Cities... and learn to sell YOUR art, online!
- Your camera,
- a tripod,
- a wireless remote or cable release,
- a wide-angle lens (24mm or wider),
- a telephoto lens,
- a ND filter (10-stops or higher) for long exposures,
- a laptop with Lightroom or Photoshop (or both) for the post-processing.
This is also New York in the fall, so make sure to pack warm clothes and an umbrella!
I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don’t worry about it!
