What’s Included:
Join us for the experience of a lifetime and return with unforgettable images ready to sell!
Imagine standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon as the first light illuminates the majestic landscape before you or capturing Sedona's famed Cathedral Rock at sunset. This May, we're embarking on a 5-day photo adventure through the American Southwest, where you'll capture breathtaking images at each iconic stop.
From sunrise on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to the famous Monument Valley, each moment is curated for optimal photo ops and marketable shots. Join us for an unforgettable journey that combines professional instruction with unmatched scenery!
One of the absolute highlights of our journey is a Private helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon! Imagine soaring over the vast, rugged landscape, capturing a breathtaking aerial perspective of the canyon's depths, winding trails, and majestic cliffs. This is a rare opportunity to create once-in-a-lifetime images that capture the Grand Canyon from a unique vantage point.
You'll work with three world-class photographers and marketers who know how to capture the perfect shots and the PROVEN types of shots that SELL. With in-field coaching and editing sessions, you'll learn exactly what to shoot and how to edit it. After the event, we'll show you the next steps to selling your work online.
Greg Koorhan!
Greg Koorhan will join us as our guide. Greg is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, and expert marketer. In addition to his photo and retouching skills, he shares our mission of helping other artists make a sustainable income from their craft and regularly coaches creators on growing their businesses (when he isn't traveling on photo trips). He's no stranger to The Thriving Artists workshops, and we are lucky to have Greg as our guide and instructor on this trip!
Bob Augsburg!
Bob Augsburg joined us on our Colorado trip in 2024 and helped teach the students his techniques in photography—and sales!
He'll give a series of in-depth presentations and Q&A sessions on how he's sold well over $100,000 in art through furniture stores over the last four or so years. You will leave with actionable pointers on selling your photography to furniture stores, too!
Craig has sold over 10,000 pieces of art, totaling over 1.6 million. His students sell between $60,000 - $90,000 per month following his teachings!
Clifton Haley is the head of coaching at the Thriving Artist Academy, who has sold over 650 pieces online (with 40 pieces sold just last month!)
Greg is an award-winning film director and photographer, an experienced marketer with over 4 decades of experience to share.
Mr. Bob Augsburg is among the absolute Elite in the Thriving Artist Academy. He's also sold over $100,000 to furniture stores on his own.

CAMERA GEAR:
MISC GEAR
I accept all levels of experience in photography, but please make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise, it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or an ND filter, don’t worry!
There will be no long or strenuous hiking or heavy physical exertion needed. People in their 20s-80s join us in these workshops. However, you must be able to walk up a few flights of stairs with your gear. If that is going to be a challenge, this might not be the best next workshop for you.
If you have a Non-Photographer +1, they may attend the entire adventure without coaching for $2,500. This will include a seat in the van, but NOT in the helicopter.
If you have more questions regarding the workshop please send an email to [email protected].
The best airport to fly into is Flagstaff Airport (FLG). We recommend arriving on the morning or afternoon of May 5th, the day before it all starts. Take a cab or Uber to Sedona to ensure you’re ready for the mandatory evening workshop briefing at 6:00 PM. Feel free to arrive earlier if you want extra time to explore Arizona before our adventure officially begins. At the end of the workshop transportation will be provided back to Flagstaff airport on Day 5
We will soon list the recommended hotels in Sedona, near the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, for you to book.
