The workshop starts on May 28th. If you are in the US, you should fly out of the US on the 26th of May, and you’ll arrive in London on the morning of the 27th of May. Morning shoot! Kick off the Photo Adventure with a stunning sunrise shoot at Tower Bridge. Experience the magical morning light as it illuminates the river and the historic architecture, offering the perfect start to your photography adventure.
Pickup time: 3:15 am
After the morning shoot we will go back to our hotels and nap. then at 1-4 PM there will be Editing time with Craig, Cliff, and Serge.(There may be day-to-day changes in the classroom time based on the weather and shooting opportunities.)
Sunset and Nighttime at St Paul’s Cathedral
End the day with a captivating sunset and nighttime shoot at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, once the tallest building in the world in the 1600s. Capture the beauty of this architectural masterpiece as it glows in the evening light, providing an incredible backdrop for your portfolio.
Pickup time: 7:45 PM
Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise shoot at the iconic Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The early morning light will illuminate these historic landmarks, offering a perfect opportunity to capture their grandeur.
At 3:15 a.m., we will walk from the pickup spot to the big Ben across the stunning West Minster bridge!

Sunset and Nighttime from a Rooftop
End your day with a stunning view of the London skyline from a rooftop, possibly The Shard. Photograph the River Thames, the London Eye, and the cityscape as the sun sets and the city lights up. This vantage point will provide an unforgettable perspective for your portfolio.

Start your day with a wide-angle sunrise shoot at Buckingham Palace, capturing the grandeur of the primary residence of the British Royal Family. This majestic location provides an iconic backdrop for your morning session.

Sunset on the River Thames
End the London leg of the tour with a stunning sunset shoot upriver on the River Thames. Discover a spectacular view of London that many don’t know about, offering a unique perspective for your portfolio.
Pickup time: 7:50 pm
There will be a day of rest/travel on May 31st; the Scotland trip starts on June 1st. The instructors will pick up all of the students in vans from Inverness airport, for this leg of the adventure.
Here is how we recommend you get from London to Scotland! Plus the hotels and food in the area. (NOTE: Because this leg of the trip will be picked up and dropped off in vans, we highly recommend that you book a hotel that we list, otherwise you will need to arrange your own method to make sure you arrive at the pick up spot in time!)
It would be best to fly from London to "The Isle of Skye, Scotland." on May 31st. This is a direct, inexpensive 90-minute flight. MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT BEFORE 3:30 PM ON MAY 31ST! That's when the vans are leaving! (If you book past this, you may need to rent a car or hire your own taxi to get you to the Isle of Skye, a 2.5 hour drive!)

The Isle of Skye, Scotland, is a beautiful, remote part of the world. But, one downside is that there are VERY LIMITED HOTELS. It's essential to book your hotel RIGHT AWAY to stay near the rest of the group! Each day's pickup spot won't always be the same. This guide will show you each location for each day.
The instructors will be staying at The Royal Hotel. This hotel is quite large and should fit nearly everyone. But you DEFINITELY want to book it sooner rather than later!

Kick off your Scottish adventure with a breathtaking sunrise shoot at the Old Man of Storr. This iconic natural landmark offers dramatic landscapes and an unparalleled view to start your day.
We head out from the pickup location at 3:00 AM sharp!
During the day, after the morning shoot, we will go back to our hotels and take a nap.
Then, depending on the weather, we will also add editing time and a midday shoot of the world-famous Mealt Falls.
End your day with an enchanting sunset shoot at the Fairy Pools. These crystal-clear pools and cascading waterfalls create a magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing the deep colors of a summer evening in northern Scotland.
We head out from the pickup location at 7:30 sharp!
Travel through the picturesque landscapes of the Highlands, stopping to photograph highland cows (if there are any) heading toward our first shoot location.
Photograph the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, known for its appearance in the Harry Potter films. Capture the majestic curves of this railway bridge set against the backdrop of the stunning Scottish Highlands.
After 4:00 pm we head to the next hotel.
We will check in to our hotel rooms at 6:30, giving us over an hour to relax and eat before the next shoot.
Conclude the day with a sunset shoot at Kilchurn Castle, nestled on the shores of a serene Loch. This medieval castle, dating back to the 1400s, provides a dramatic and historic setting for your evening session.
Pickup time: 8:20 PM
Morning Drive: Across the Scottish Highlands to Edinburgh.
This trip is fast and furious, so this morning will give you some time to rest and recuperate. Trips without some rest can be quite taxing, so really use these hours!
At 11:00 am we check out and head out.
Experience the rugged beauty of the Highlands as we make our way to Scotland’s capital. Stopping for any Highland cows if we see any.
Pickup time: 11:00 am

Evening Shoot: Edinburgh Castle.
Photograph Edinburgh Castle from a dramatic vantage point as the sun sets. The city’s skyline, combined with the castle’s imposing presence, offers a fantastic opportunity to capture Edinburgh's essence.
Pickup time 8:40 pm
We will hold a dawn shoot on the Royal Mile in the Center of Old Edinburgh, don’t miss this shoot, it will be magnificent at dawn without all the tourists.
Pickup time: 3:20 am
There will be a 1/2 day of rest, then the Ireland trips starts on June 5th
Next, many of you will fly direct from Edinburgh to Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Take a 45 minute plane flight from Edinburgh to Belfast, Northern Ireland, outside of the workshop.
During the half day break between legs, (between Edinburgh and Belfast, Northern Ireland) we won’t be together, The instructors will be setting up logistics behind the scenes.
We will provide you with all the details of this trip, how to book your plane tickets, where to go etc. These plane tickets are not expensive. Clif and I will be reachable through our trip whatsapp group.

Dawn Shoot: Giant’s Causeway
Start your Irish adventure with a dawn shoot at the iconic Giant’s Causeway, located an hour outside of Belfast. Capture the unique basalt columns and dramatic coastal views as the sun rises, creating an unforgettable beginning to your day.
Pickup time is 3:40 am
Get ready for the long road trip! Journey down the scenic western Irish coast along the Wild Atlantic Way, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and charming villages.
Pickup time is 9:00 am
Stop for a photo session at the stunning Kylemore Abbey, located in western Ireland near Galway. The beautiful Gothic architecture and serene lake setting provide a picturesque backdrop for your photographs.

Sunset Shoot: Cliffs of Moher
End the day with a sunset shoot at the famous Cliffs of Moher. These dramatic cliffs, featured in the movie The Princess Bride, offer breathtaking views and are a must-see location for any photographer. Capture the stunning scenery as the sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean.

Dawn Shoot: Galway City Center and Port
Capture the colorful houses and bustling harbor of Galway at dawn. The early morning light highlights the charm of this vibrant city, then returning to the hotel to nap as long as you can!

Nap from 6:00 am - 11:00 am, Get lunch in Galway, and get ready for the road trip!

Travel across the country to visit Newgrange, a prehistoric monolithic Celtic Druidic landmark. This ancient site, older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Egypt, offers a unique opportunity to photograph a piece of history.
Road trip to Dublin!

Check in to your hotel in Dublin, and get some dinner before the last shoot of the day.
Get a rare early night to either rest, explore the town, or edit your photos. Kicking back off tomorrow at 3:50 am!
On the third day, at dawn, we will photograph Phoenix Park (the central park for Dublin, Ireland), one of the largest urban parks in Europe, where dozens of wild deer freely roam.
We will be photographing a massive 120 ft steel Cross in the park, which was built in the 1970s to commemorate the Pope’s very first visit to Ireland, which drew over a million people into the park for the ceremony, larger than the entire population of Dublin at the time!

This is the top Ivy League university in Ireland, modeled after Oxford and Cambridge. We will be capturing their world famous library

Evening Double Shoot: Dublinn's Mellows bridge and Dublin’sHa’Penny Bridge
Finish the day with a sunset shoot along the River Liffey of the Mellows Bridge in Dublin during sunset, then after night falls, Capture the iconic Ha’Penny Bridge and the vibrant cityscape as the lights turn on. Two beautiful scenes for your portfolio.
Then finishing the night off at the Temple Bar Pub.

I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don’t worry about it!
Note: In the past, the majority of any complaints have come from a small percentage of +1s. This is normal, and we sympathize with them because they tend to be very bored.
Please ensure that they bring some other form of entertainment, like a book or tablet, so they don't feel alone, bored, and miserable.
