Two Unforgettable Days Exploring Alaska’s Wildest Places

Two Days of Pure Alaskan Magic

Extend Your Journey With Brown Bears, Coastal Glaciers, and Arctic Wilderness. PLUS a strong potential of capturing bear cubs!

For travelers who crave more than a glimpse, who want to truly feel Alaska, this exclusive 2-day extension takes you deeper into its untamed wilderness.

Your adventure begins in Lake Clark National Park, where you’ll spend a full day on foot with an experienced ranger, photographing majestic brown bears and their playful cubs in their natural habitat. This isn’t a rush-through viewing, you’ll take the time to compose each shot, observe real wild behavior, and connect with the landscape in a way few ever do.

The following day brings a complete change of scene: a journey into Prince William Sound, a place that feels like touching the edge of the Arctic. Glide past towering glaciers, deep blue icebergs, and emerald fjords alive with seals, puffins, and whales. It’s coastal Alaska at its most cinematic, pure light, color, and silence.

And the best part? Every detail is taken care of, flights, hotels, meals, and transfers, so all you need to do is focus on creating breathtaking images and memories that will last a lifetime.

A Final Taste of Alaska That Feels Like Pure Magic

This extension gives you a closer, deeper look at the wildest side of Alaska — the kind of places most travelers never get the chance to experience.
It’s your opportunity to stretch the adventure a little longer, slow down, and step into moments that feel unreal.

You’ll spend a full day in Lake Clark National Park, photographing brown bears and their cubs on foot with an experienced ranger. We’ll take our time, waiting for natural interactions, soft light, quiet behavior, and all the wild stories unfolding in front of us. Wide open meadows, tidal flats, coastal rivers… it’s one of the most intimate bear experiences in Alaska.

Then you’ll step into the deep blue world of Prince William Sound, a place that feels almost Arctic. Towering glaciers, turquoise fjords, drifting ice, whales, seals, sea otters, and puffins — all wrapped in a serenity that makes every scene look like a painting. It’s a full sensory experience of coastal Alaska at its most dramatic.

This extension adds something unforgettable to your week. It pulls you deeper into the landscape, gives you more time to create meaningful images, and wraps your entire Alaska journey in a feeling of discovery you’ll carry with you for years.

What You’ll Capture:

Brown Bears These powerful and curious animals roam freely through the meadows and shorelines of Lake Clark, giving you rare chances to capture beautiful portraits and incredible natural behavior from safe, close viewing distances.

Bald Eagles These iconic birds soar above the coastlines and river mouths, offering a striking and dramatic subject as they hunt, glide, and perch against the backdrop of rugged mountain scenery.

Seabirds and Coastal Wildlife Keep your lens ready for puffins, kittiwakes, murres, and other coastal birds as they skim the surface of Prince William Sound and gather along the rocky cliffs.

Possible Whale Sightings Depending on conditions, we may spot humpback whales and orcas as they surface and breach in the deep, cold waters of the Sound.

Glaciers and Ice Formations Towering blue ice walls, drifting icebergs, and dramatic coastal formations create unforgettable compositions and showcase the raw power and beauty of Alaska.

Harbor Seals and Sea Lions These curious and expressive animals often lounge on floating ice or pop up near the boat for a quick look, offering fun and charismatic moments for your camera.

Golden Light and Late Evenings Alaska delivers long, soft evening light that stretches far into the night. This gives you hours of diffused, glowing conditions that make every scene feel cinematic and rich with color.

We are heading into some of the most remote and untouched areas in Alaska a place so wild and unspoiled that even maps do a terrible job showing how it feels. These regions have only small pockets of people and a whole lot of wide open wilderness that lives by its own rules.

While we will do everything humanly possible to make your experience smooth, comfortable, and full of genuinely jaw dropping photography moments, nature and wildlife will not sign a contract. Believe us, we tried.

This means locations or timing may shift depending on weather, wildlife activity, or whatever surprises Alaska decides to toss our way. But no matter what, we are always adjusting to make sure you get the best shots possible. After all, going with the wild is what makes this an authentic adventure

✔️ Wool or Thermal Socks Cold feet ruin the fun fast. Bring a few pairs.

✔️ Hand and Foot Warmers (Highly Recommended) Especially useful for early mornings and cold boat days.

I accept all levels of experience in photography, but please make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise, it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or an ND filter, don’t worry!

There will be no long or strenuous hiking or heavy physical exertion needed. People in their 20s-80s join us in these workshops. However, you must be able to walk up a few flights of stairs with your gear. If that is going to be a challenge, this might not be the best next workshop for you.

If you have a Non-Photographer +1, they may attend the entire adventure. But due to the high, hard costs associated with Alaska, any +1 on this trip will be the same cost as a regular photographer.

If you have more questions regarding the workshop please send an email to [email protected].

The best airport to fly into is Anchorage International Airport (ANC).

We recommend arriving by the afternoon of Day 1 to ensure you’re settled and ready for the mandatory evening workshop briefing, as Day 1 begins at 3pm inside a conference room in Anchorage for a safety briefing, as well as an intro photography lecture from the instructors.

Feel free to arrive earlier as well!

After the adventure, you’ll fly out of  Anchorage International Airport (ANC), whether you are on the 4-day or 6-day adventure!

We will soon list the recommended hotels in Alaska, and if you upgrade to the bonus addition, your rooms will be booked for you!
