For those craving just one more day of creative magic (and a few final portfolio stunners), we’re offering a coastal add-on adventure designed to take your New England workshop to the next level.
Begin your morning photographing the legendary Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth — one of the most iconic and dramatic lighthouses in America — as waves crash beneath the soft morning glow. Then, spend the afternoon on an exclusive photo cruise, capturing the rugged Maine coastline and its classic harbors from a whole new perspective.
This special add-on day offers a blend of coastal charm and ocean-side drama — the perfect grand finale to your fall photography journey. You’ll come away with seascapes, lighthouse shots, and storytelling images that round out your New England portfolio beautifully.
Vermont Village Views – Quaint steeples, winding backroads, and small-town charm come alive in the glow of early morning light. Capture iconic scenes like Peacham and Montpelier, framed by rolling hills and fiery fall colors — the kind of images that define New England autumn.
Kettle Pond Reflections – Glassy water mirrors the surrounding forest in brilliant shades of red and gold. You’ll learn to work with still reflections, subtle ripples, and shifting light to create depth and atmosphere in your compositions.
Covered Bridges & Country Roads – From Upper Cox Brook to Albany Covered Bridge, each stop offers rustic architecture surrounded by rich color and texture. Expect leading lines, moody mist, and plenty of small-town storytelling moments.
Waterfalls & Hidden Trails – Gentle hikes bring you to cascades like Moss Glen Falls and Sabbaday Falls, where soft water flow contrasts against bold autumn tones — perfect for long exposures and creative framing.
Golden Light & Weather Drama – The Northeast is famous for its shifting skies — morning fog, glowing sunsets, and the occasional misty rain that brings out the richest color. These are the conditions that turn good photos into unforgettable ones.
And just a heads-up...
We’re heading into some of the most colorful terrain in North America — and the weather can change in minutes. Light, clouds, and color are constantly in motion, and that’s part of the magic.
We’ll do everything possible to get you to the right spot at the perfect time — but flexibility is key. We adapt, pivot, and chase the light across Vermont and New Hampshire to ensure you come home with your best fall images ever. 🍁

I accept all levels of experience in photography, but please make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise, it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or an ND filter, don’t worry!
There will be no long or strenuous hiking or heavy physical exertion needed. People in their 20s-80s join us in these workshops. However, you must be able to walk up a few flights of stairs with your gear. If that is going to be a challenge, this might not be the best next workshop for you.
If you have a Non-Photographer +1, they may attend the entire workshop. But due to the high, hard costs associated with this trip, any +1 on this trip will be the same cost as a regular photographer.
If you have more questions regarding the workshop please send an email to [email protected].
The best airport to fly into for the standard New England Workshop is Burlington International Airport (BTV) in Vermont. It’s the most convenient airport to reach our starting point in Montpelier.
We’ll announce the official meeting point and hotel details as we get closer to the workshop date, once all travel logistics are finalized.
We recommend planning to arrive by the afternoon of Day 1 so you have time to get settled before the mandatory 3:00 PM welcome briefing. This gives you a chance to relax, unpack, and be fully ready before we kick off the adventure.
Feel free to arrive earlier if you’d like to explore a bit on your own — fall in New England is absolutely breathtaking!
After the workshop, you’ll depart from the same airport, Burlington International Airport (BTV) in Montpelier, UNLESS you’ve added the optional coastal extension in Maine.
✅ If you purchased the Add-On Day: you’ll fly out of Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Portland, Maine, after the final morning of the add-on experience.
The hotels are included in this trip. Details will be shared with you in the private Whatsapp group chat as we get closer to the event!
