Where Africa comes to the water.

Kenya begins across vast open land. Chobe introduces a completely different Africa, one organized around the river. Wildlife gathers at the banks, moves through the channels and passes close enough for every shift in light, texture and behavior to matter.

A normal sightseeing boat gets you onto the river. This gets you into position. The Chobe photography experience is built around long lenses, fast-moving wildlife and photographers who cannot afford to fight for an angle when the moment arrives.

BEFORE SUNRISE

The day begins before the world does.

Coffee, quiet voices and cameras already assembled. We leave while the sky is still dark because the first few minutes of light can become the photograph you remember for the rest of your life.

IN THE FIELD

Everything is built around the photograph.

We move with the wildlife, the weather and the light. The schedule gives us a plan, but the scene in front of us decides when it is time to stay.

GOLDEN HOUR

We stay for the transformation.

As the heat leaves the day, the river turns to gold. Wildlife gathers, reflections deepen and every few seconds the scene becomes something new.

WHEN THE LIGHT REFUSES TO LEAVE

Some moments are too good to end.

Even as the sun reaches the horizon, the river is still changing. Elephants gather, silhouettes sharpen and nobody lowers a camera until the final usable frame has disappeared with the light.

THE PHYSICAL LIMIT

There are only ten seats. And there is a reason.

This is not a marketing countdown. The specialist photography boat, safari vehicles and premium river accommodations create a real physical limit on how many photographers can experience the extension properly.

APPROXIMATELY 10 PHOTOGRAPHERS

We can only bring about half of the Kenya group.

Adding more people would mean giving up the individual boat positions, freedom of movement and intimate access that make this journey worth taking. Once these positions are assigned, enrollment closes.

Why is the extension limited to approximately ten photographers? +

Capacity is determined by the specialist photography boat, safari vehicles and premium lodging. The limit protects each photographer's position, mobility and access throughout the extension.

Who is invited to join? +

This is a private continuation created exclusively for registered guests of the Kenya 2027 photography workshop.

What saves my place? +

Your $2,500 deposit reserves one of the available positions. Once every position is assigned, enrollment for the extension closes.

Can additional seats be added later? +

We do not plan to expand beyond the capacity supported by the photography boat, vehicles and accommodations. Increasing the group would change the experience we are promising.
